We are a long-established and highly respected equestrian organisation based in Weeley, Essex. Established in 1969 and proudly affiliated with British Riding Clubs, we are a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing opportunities for riders of all ages and abilities to train, compete, and develop within a safe, supportive, and professional environment.

Today, the club has a strong and growing membership of 164 junior and senior members, alongside an engaged online audience, including over 3,100 Facebook followers and an expanding Instagram presence. Our events and activities attract competitors, spectators, and visitors from across Essex and neighbouring counties, giving supporting businesses valuable exposure to a diverse and loyal audience.

A unique strength of Tendring Hundred Riding Club is that we proudly own and manage our own showground facilities. Throughout the year we host a busy calendar of equestrian competitions, training clinics, and championships, alongside wider community events including family fun days, dog shows, and fundraising initiatives. These events not only promote equestrian sport at grassroots level but also create strong community engagement and repeat visibility for our sponsors.
