A hugh well done to all our riders who drove all the way to Brook Farm to represent THRC at the winter dressage qualifier.
We sent an intro team of Jess Ball, Katherine Williams, Pam Mallender, Jess Ball and Jane Hubert. This was the first time competing for the club at Area for Pam and Katherine, so thank you and welcome and look forward to seeing you at more qualifers and at the club.
Next up was the Novice team consisting of Pam, Sarah Cavill, Claire Butcher and Sameena Rush. Unfortunately it wasn't Sarah and Ruben's day as when she started warming up Ruben wasn't quite right so Sarah made the right decision, despite driving all the way down there, to withdraw him from the competition.
Last of the teams to go was the mixed intermediate one consisting of Claire, Sarah, Sameena and Chloe Mason. Unfortunately the team become 3 because of Ruben but the ladies still did an outstanding job with a good result.
Claire will receive an invitation to the champs for her Novice win so super well done . Claire and Jo may get an invitation too for their 2nd places
Well done everyone and thank you for representing the club at this super busy qualifier.

We had 6 team members taking part in Winter show jumping championship, it was a first championship for some of our members and horses who soaked up the atmosphere and had lots of fun, the courses where full up with lots of challenges.
Our first riders were riding as a team in the 60cm mixed class which consisted of 2 rounds to ride, first outdoors then second indoors.
The team was Naomi Berryman-Watts, Tallulah Northover-Dodd, Sarah Cavill and Isabella Berryman-watts. They all rode lovely and the team came 11th just outside the rosettes but Tallulah and her clever little pony Ebony was our highest placed rider 18th individually out of 90 riders (great result for her first champs)
Claire Butcher then rode in the 70cm as an individual and had 2 great clear rounds with an amazing result to come 7th out of 126 riders.
Alanna Brosnan was our other individual rider in the 80cm with her lovely grey mare. They did really well considering this was the mares first championship.
Very well done to everyone you all rode well and supported each other and thank you to all who supported the riders.
