THRC Rules and Codes of Conduct

Tendring Hundred Riding Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members and the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline. Tendring Hundred Riding Club believes that it is important that members, parents / guardians, officials, volunteers and coaches should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, both senior and junior members are always encouraged to be open and to share any concerns or complaints they may have about any aspect of the club with the Chair/Safeguarding Officer.

 

Tendring Hundred Riding Club would ask all members, parents/carers and spectators to abide by the Codes of Conduct below. The Codes of Conduct are based upon those advised by British Equestrian, the National governing body for horse sports in the UK. Any breaches of the Codes of Conduct will be dealt with immediately by THRC and persistent concerns/breaches may result in you being suspended from attending events.

Cancellation Policies

 

Clinic Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

Any participant cancelling/withdrawing before the closing date of entries will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid. Unfortunately we are unable to refund any fees paid for cancellations/withdrawals after close of entries under any circumstances, other than a replacement being found, and any unpaid fees must still be paid.

 

Team Withdrawal Policy

Any member pulling out of team selection prior to receiving confirmation of a team place will not have to pay any team contributions. Once a member has received confirmation of a team place from a team manager, the club will not be able to refund any team contributions paid under any circumstances, other than a replacement being found, and any unpaid fees must still be paid.

THRC reserve the right to prohibit anyone with any outstanding fees owed to the club from participating in Team events or attending any Clinics. N.B. Please note that all team contributions should be sent to the team manager by the date stated for each event in order to guarantee a team place. Failure to do so may result in the team place being offered to another member.

 

Event Withdrawal Policy

Any participant withdrawing from an event before close of entries will be entitled to a full refund of any entry fees. After close of entries any participant withdrawing from an event will only be entitled to a refund of any entry fees paid upon receipt of a medical/veterinary certificate. Withdrawals on the day for medical/veterinary reasons may be entitled to a refund of entry fees paid at the discretion of the organiser.

 

Event Cancellation Policy In the event of a THRC event being cancelled all competitors will be entitled to a refund of entry fees minus the booking fee.
