Tendring Hundred Riding Club was established in 1969. THRC is very privileged to have its own showground for its members, providing a grass surface with three substantial arenas. The Club is not run to make a profit, any monies made from our shows and membership are used to improve the Club's facilities for the use of its members and also substantial donations are made each year to charity. Although we open most of our events to non-members we would encourage membership of the Club which provides additional advantages to its members, some of which are listed below. The Club has no restrictions to its membership and is provided for junior, senior and non-riding enthusiasts. We reserve the right to exclude any persons that we feel do not comply with our ethos. The Clus is designed and run for its members to encourage the safe execution of various disciplines including dressage, show jumping, showing, gymkhanas and cross country events. Our aim is to provide a friendly and safe environment for our members to enjoy the pursuit of equine events in an amateur, competitive environment. We are committed to providing training sessions to further enhance each individual's horsemanship from the very novice to the more advanced levels. Our members are encouraged to compete in our various team events thus enhancing the friendly atmosphere we are committed to provide. We are committed to involving the Club in the various competitions run by British Riding Clubs culminating in the various finals for both teams and individual members.

Our Club is run by its members, for its members and remains committed to its ethos and in so doing encourages all members and guests to enjoy the Club in a friendly and safe environment.
